Welcome to the Week 12 Fantasy Football Rankings from FantasyProjection!
Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! Not only do we have belly filling turkey and delicious sides, but we have football to watch starting early Thursday afternoon! The smart thing to do is to set those lineups early so that you don’t have to worry about it while you are piling those plates nice and high. One way to do that, which i am somewhat biased to, is by using the rankings below to set your lineups! Good luck this week and enjoy the family, food, friends, and FOOTBALL!
Quarterbacks
- Tom Brady, NE QB vs. MIA
- Kirk Cousins, WAS QB vs. NYG
- Russell Wilson, SEA QB at SF
- Carson Wentz, PHI QB vs. CHI
- Cam Newton, CAR QB at NYJ
- Ben Roethlisberger, PIT QB vs. GB
- Drew Brees, NO QB at LAR
- Matt Ryan, ATL QB vs. TB
- Marcus Mariota, TEN QB at IND
- Alex Smith, KC QB vs. BUF
- Jared Goff, LAR QB vs. NO
- Philip Rivers, LAC QB at DAL
- Case Keenum, MIN QB at DET
- Matthew Stafford, DET QB vs. MIN
- Dak Prescott, DAL QB vs. LAC
The new running back for the Seattle Seahawks is also their QB ?!?! Russell Wilson had a HUGE game against the Atlanta Falcons in week 12 not only passing for 258 yards and 2 TDs, but also rushing for 86 yards and 1 TD. That rushing stat line alone would put him in top 6 running back territory week to week which is a huge plus seeing that he is also a QB. This week Wilson takes on the San Francisco 49ers who are 10th worst in the league against the pass and have allowed 18 TDs over the season to QBs. Not only do they have a weak pass defense, but they are also the 2nd worst against the rush on a yards per game basis. These factors and the hot streak that Wilson is on ledas me to believe he will have another game breaking week in week 12. Fantasy Projection: 280 yards passing 2 TDs 52 yards rushing potentially 1 TD.
Big Ben was simply just waiting to return to Heinz field to start doing damage to opposing defenses right?!?! In week 11 Ben threw for 299 yards and 4 TDs against the Tennessee Titans at home. Ben’s home road splits are legendary in the world of fantasy football. Everyone knows the Ben can have massive games like this one at home, but will throw 5 INTs the next week away. This is what draws me back to the potential that Big Ben has at home. This week Ben is at home and is playing the Green Bay Packers who look like a completely different team than the one formerly run by Aaron Rodgers. The Packers are 15th worst against the pass on a yards per game basis and seem to be a slightly worse than average defense. I don’t see any reason why this isn’t a team that Ben can exploit in week 12 and have a big Thanksgiving game for his fantasy owners. Fantasy Projection: 275 yards passing 2-3 TDS
Running Back
- Kareem Hunt, KC RB vs. BUF
- LeSean McCoy, BUF RB at KC
- Le’Veon Bell, PIT RB vs. GB
- Mark Ingram, NO RB at LAR
- Todd Gurley, LAR RB vs. NO
- Melvin Gordon, LAC RB at DAL
- Alvin Kamara, NO RB at LAR
- Leonard Fournette, JAC RB at ARI
- Lamar Miller, HOU RB at BAL
- Christian McCaffrey, CAR at NYJ
- Samaje Perine, WAS RB vs. NYG
- DeMarco Murray, TEN RB at IND
- Jay Ajayi, PHI RB vs. CHI
- Jordan Howard, CHI RB at PHI
- Carlos Hyde, SF RB vs. SEA
Even though the Buffalo Bills offense as a whole looked beaten down especially with Peterman behind center LeSean McCoy managed to have a monster fantasy week 11. McCoy had over 125 all purpose yards and 2 TDs against a fairly strong Chargers defense. In week 12 McCoy has a MUCH better matchup against the Kansa City Chiefs who are 4th worst against the run on a yards per game basis. While the Buffalo Bills are trying to figure out what they are going to do at the QB position there is still one fantasy constant and that is LeSean McCoy. This could be another huge week for McCoy which is why he is ranked at number 2 overall at the RB position. Fantasy Projection: 111 yards rushing 1 TD 3 receptions 36 yards
With Rob Kelley and Chris Thompson both injured for the Washington Redskins, the workload at RB now fall on rookie Samaje Perine. In week 11 Semaje Perine rushed for 117 yards and 1 TD against the New Orleans Saints logging one of the best RB stats lines in week 11. Perine was a rookie that all fantasy owners were interested in coming into the 2017-18 fantasy season and it now seems that he could finally pay off. Perine takes on the New York Giants in week 12 who are 3rd worst against the rush on a rushing yards per game basis. Not only does this look like a great matchup, but I believe the Redskins will be up big on the Giants and will look to run the clock out with the talented rookie. Fantasy Projection: 83 yards rushing 1 TD
Wide Receivers
- Antonio Brown, PIT WR vs. GB
- A.J. Green, CIN WR vs. CLE
- Julio Jones, ATL WR vs. TB
- Adam Thielen, MIN WR at DET
- Doug Baldwin, SEA WR at SF
- Brandin Cooks, NE WR vs. MIA
- Keenan Allen, LAC WR at DAL
- Mike Evans, TB WR at ATL
- Alshon Jeffrey, PHI WR vs. CHI
- T.Y. Hilton, IND WR vs. TEN
- Michael Thomas, NO WR at LAR
- Devin Funchess, CAR Wrat NYJ
- DeAndre Hopkins, HOU WR at BAL
- Stefon Diggs, MIN WR at DET
- Jarvis Landry, MIA WR at NE
- Michael Crabtree, OAK WR vs. DEN
- Demaryius Thomas, DEN WR at OAK
- Sterling Shepard, NYG WR at WAS
- Tyreek Hill, KC WR vs. BUF
- Golden Tate, DET WR vs. MIN
- Dez Bryant, DAL WR vs. LAC
- Jamison Crowder, WAS WR vs. NYG
- Rishard Matthews, TEN WR at IND
- JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT WR vs. GB
- Mohamed Sanu, ATL WR vs. TB
Whoa! Take it easy Antonio don’t spend all your fantasy gold in one place! In week 11 Antonio Brown exploded for 144 yards and 3 TDs against the Tennessee Titans. These are the types of performances we have come to expect from the all-star WR. With the Steelers at home this week and Big Ben in my top 6 at QB this week I don’t expect AB to slow down at all against the Green Bay Packers. Expect AB to give you much comfort and joy on this wonderful Thanksgiving day weekend. Fantasy Projection: 9 receptions 113 yards 1-2 TDs
In week 11 Devin Funchess really started to look like the WR1 on the Carolin Panthers. Funchess hauled in 5 passes for 92 yards and 2 TDs. With Kelvin Benjamin gone Funchess is the main option in the passing game and has always been a HUGE target in the end zone for QB Cam Newton. Tight End Greg Olsen may be returning this week, but even so I think he may be limited and Funchess will continue to see a fair amount of targets. The Panthers take on the Jets this week who are middle of the pack against the pass on a passing yards per game basis, but who have allowed 20 receiveing TDs over the season. Fantasy Projection: 5 receptions 65 yards 1 TD
Tight Ends
- Rob Gronkowski, NE TE vs. MIA
- Zach Ertz, PHI TE vs. CHI
- Travis Kelce, KC TE vs. BUF
- Jimmy Graham, SEA TE at SF
- Vernon Davis, WAS TE vs. NYG
- Evan Engram, NYG TE at WAS
- Delanie Walker, TEN TE at IND
- Kyle Rudolph, MIN TE at DET
- Jack Doyle, IND TE vs. TEN
- Jared Cook, OAK TE vs. DEN
- Tyler Kroft, CIN TE vs. CLE
- Greg Olsen, CAR TE at NYJ
Ok everyone, that means you too Cam, don’t lose your mind, but GREG OLSEN IS BACK!!! Well as long as everything goes according to plan he is expected to take the field this week against the New York Jets. I do not expect Olsen to be immediately worked into the game plan as he is still coming back from serious injury, but he is Greg Olsen and always has a chance to come up HUGE for your fantasy team. Greg does make the top 12 this week as the struggle at the TE position continues and I’ll take half of Olsen any day over the other TE’s left outside the top 12. Fantasy Projection: 4 receptions 40 yards potentially 1 TD.
