Dak Prescott has been on fire so far this season throwing for 674 yards and 7 TDs through the first 2 games. It does look as If Dak will lose one of his main receivers Michael Gallup for next week, but I don’t believe that will stop him. Prescott has the best matchup a QB could ask for this week in the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are a mess on offense and defense … a mess that every QB has taken advantage of so far this season and so will Dak. Fantasy Projection: 293 yards 2 TDs 21 rush yards 0.3 TD
Josh Allen continues to roll for fantasy pruposes. He may not be the most prototypical NFL QB, but when it comes to fantasy his rushing capabilities keep him relevant each and every week. In week 2 Allen passed for 253 yards and 1 TD while rushing for 21 yards and another TD. This week Allen faces the Bengals who are one of the worst defenses in the NFL and who Jimmy Garoppolo just made a joke out of. Allen should be able to put up points on this miserable defense and in bunches. Fantasy Projection: 192 yards passing 1 TD 55 yards rushing 0.7 TD
Running Back
- Ezekiel Elliott DAL vs. MIA
- Christian McCaffrey CAR at ARI
- Saquon Barkley NYG at TB

- Marlon Mack IND vs. ATL

- James Conner PIT at SF
- Josh Jacobs OAK at MIN

Ezekiel Elliott looked like his normal self in week 2 after rushing for 111 yards and 1 TD and hauling in 2 receptions against the Washington Redskins. Zeke was back to his full workload in this game where he touched the ball 25 times. It is great to see the workhorse RB back in his role and paying back first round draft value. Zeke had an amazing matchup against the Redskins in week 2, but he has an even better matchup in week 3 when he faces the helpless Miami Dolphins. This is probably the easiest fantasy take I will ever have, but I believe Zeke will be the top RB in week 3. Fantasy Projection: 102 yards rushing 0.4 TD 6 receptions 40 yards 0.2 TD.
Dalvin Cook is giving owners back much more value than where they drafted him. Cook had 154 yards rushing and a TD in week 2 along with 3 receptions for 37 yards. He has average over 125 yards rushing per game so far this season and already has 3 TDs over the first two weeks. Cook looks extremely explosive and I think he is a top 7 RB option going forward. This week Cook faces the Raiders who’s run defense looks to be improved, but I still have ranked in the bottom half of the league. With Cook’s talent and opportunity I expect another big game from him in week 3. Fantasy Projection: 85 yards rushing 0.5 TD 4 reception 45 yards 0.2 TD.
Wide Receivers
- Davante Adams GB vs. DEN
- DeAndre Hopkins HOU at LAC
- Odell Beckham CLE vs. LAR
- Julio Jones ATL at IND
- Amari Cooper DAL vs. MIA
- Keenan Allen LAC vs. HOU
- Mike Evans TB vs. NYG
- Michael Thomas NO at SEA
- Chris Godwin TB vs. NYG
- Sammy Watkins KC vs. BAL
- JuJu Smith-Schuster PIT at SF
- Antonio Brown NE vs. NYJ
- T.Y. Hilton IND vs. ATL
- Kenny Golladay DET at PHI
- Adam Thielen MIN vs. OAK
- Stefon Diggs MIN vs. OAK
- Robert Woods LAR at CLE
- Cooper Kupp LAR at CLE
- Calvin Ridley ATL at IND
- Tyler Lockett SEA vs. NO
- Brandin Cooks LAR at CLE
- D.J. Moore CAR at ARI
- Allen Robinson CHI at WAS
- Julian Edelman NE vs. NYJ
- Tyler Boyd CIN at BUF
While team mate Mike Evans has been struggling this season… Tampa Bay WR Chris Godwin has been surging. Godwin has 11 receptions for 174 yards and 2 TDs on the young season including a 121 yard and 1 TD game last week against the Panthers. Godwin seems to be a favorite redzone target of QB Jameis Winston and should continue to be a high end WR2. In week 3 Godwin will take on the Giants who may be the second best matchup in the NFL for opposing WRs. I expect Godwin will continue his hot streak this week. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 77 yards 0.5 TD
JuJu Smith-Schuster had a decent performance week 2 with all things considered… those all things being the loss of QB Ben Roethlisberger. JuJu still managed to haul in 5 receptions for 84 yards approx. half of that prodution without Big Ben. News came out on Monday that Ben would miss the rest of the season with an elbow injury. I think that JuJu will continue to be heavily targeted, but the value and accuracy of those targets will decline. He has definitely dropped in the rankings for week 3 even when facing a sub par secodnary in the 49ers. I expect JuJu will be a bottom end WR1 to high end WR 2 depending on matchup the rest of the season. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 80 yards 0.4 TD.
Tight Ends
- Travis Kelce KC vs. BAL
- George Kittle SF vs. PIT
- Zach Ertz PHI vs. DET
- Evan Engram NYGat TB
- Mark Andrews BAL at KC
- Delanie Walker TEN at JAX
- Vance McDonald PIT at SF
- Darren Waller OAK at MIN
- Greg Olsen CAR at ARI
- O.J. Howard TB vs. NYG
- Austin Hooper ATL at IND
- David Njoku CLE vs. LAR
Evan Engram really disappointed owners in week 2 when he only caugtht 6 balls for 48 yards. With WR Sterling Shepard out the thought was that Engram would see even more targets than his incredible week 1 performance … this was not the case. The Giants just looked really bad overall and hopefully they realize they need to use more of their talented TE in order to stay competitive. I expect Engram will bounce back in week 3 with a top 4 performance when he faces the second worst team against receivers in the Buccaneers. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 72 yards 0.4 TD.
