Quarterbacks

Jared Goff had a REALLY. Bad week in week 14 throwing for 180 yards and 4 INTs with no TDs. Granted this was a tough matchup for Goff against the Bears, but with how good this offense is you still expected more! This week Goff faces the 3rd worst defense against QBs in a passing yards per game basis in the Eagles. Goff will get this high octane offense rolling again in week 15 against an injured miserable Eagles secondary. Fantasy Projection: 327 yards 3 TDs
Another underperforming stud in week 14 was Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers. Can threw for 265 yards and 1 INT against what I thought was a very susceptible Browns defense. Apparently it didn’t matter that it was a good matchup as Cam and the Panthers choked on a loss to Cleveland. Can has another GREAT matchup this week against the New Orleans Saints who are allowing the 5th most passing yards per game! I can’t see Cam having another bad game with such a juicy matchup. I expect he will find a way to bounce back in week 15. Fantasy Projection: 300 yards 2 TDs 30 yards rushing.
Running Back
- Melvin Gordon, LAC RB at KC
- Todd Gurley, LAR RB vs. PHI
- Philip Lindsay, DEN RB vs. CLE
- Christian McCaffrey, CAR RB vs. NO
- Joe Mixon, CIN RB vs. OAK
- David Johnson, ARI RB at ATL
- Ezekiel Elliott, DAL RB at IND
- Saquon Barkley, NYG RB vs, TEN
- Alvin Kamara, NO RB at CAR
- Dalvin Cook, MIN RB vs. MIA
- Nick Chubb, CLE RB at DEN
- Lamar Miller, HOU RB at NYJ
- Aaron Jones, GB RB at CHI
- Tarik Cohen, CHI RB vs. GB
- Leonard Fournette, JAC RB vs. WAS
If Melvin Gordon is back this week I expect him to end up as the number 1 RB in week 15! Gordon has been out for the past two weeks nursing a knee injury and there is a very good chance he can not play week 15. If he does suit up I assume that means he is ready to roll and gets an amazing matchup against the Chiefs who are allowing the 8th most rushing yards per game to RBs and are tied for the 3rd most rushing TDs allowed over the season. This will be an extremely high scoring game and if Melvin is active I am playing him. Fantasy Projection: 101 yards rushing 1 TD 4 receptions 65 yards 1 TD
Joe Mixon had a HUGE game in week 14 against the Chargers rushing for 111 yards and 1 TD while adding 27 yards through the air on 5 receptions. This is a great sign that the coaching staff knows it needs to go back to Mixon to win games. He has been extremely successful this year and his success should continue in week 15 against the Raiders. The Raiders are the 2nd worst team against the run on a rushing yards per game basis giving up 145 yards per game. I also think that the game will be fairly close which could lead to Mixon chewing up the clock only adding to his significant work load. Fantasy Projection: 95 yards rushing 1 TD 3 receptions 25 yards.
Wide Receivers
- Keenan Allen, LAC WR at KC
- Antonio Brown, PIT WR vs. NE
- Adam Thielen, MIN WR vs. MIA
- Michael Thomas, NO WR at CAR
- Tyreek Hill, KC WR vs. LAC
- DeAndre Hopkins, HOU WR at NYJ
- Brandin Cooks, LAR WR vs. PHI
- Davante Adams, GB WR at CHI
- Amari Cooper, DAL WR at IND
- Odell Beckham Jr., NYG WR vs. TEN
- Julio Jones, ATL WR vs. ARI
- Juju Smith-Schuster, PIT WR vs. NE
- Tyler Boyd, CIN WR vs. OAK
- Tyler Lockett, SEA WR at SF
- D.J. Moore, CAR WR at vs. NO
- Robert Woods, LAR WR vs. PHI
- Mike Evans, TB WR at BAL
- Jarvis Landry, CLE WR at DEN
- Stefon Diggs, MIN WR vs. MIA
- T.Y. Hilton, IND WR vs. DAL
- Julian Edelman, NE WR at PIT
- Larry Fitzgerald, ARI WR at ATL
- Josh Gordon, NE WR at PIT
- Cortland Sutton, DEN WR vs. CLE
- Allen Robinson, CHI WR vs. GB
Brandon Cooks has had two very down weeks in weeks 13 and 14 with 7 total receptions for 84 total yards. I expect Cooks will bounce back versus the Eagles in week 15. The Eagles allow the 2nd mist receiving yards per game to opposing teams and have allowed 20 receiving TDs over the season. Jared Goff has been off the past few weeks, but I believe this is the week he and the Rams turn it around against the Eagles due in part to help from Cooks. Fantasy Projection: 8 receptions 95 yards 1 TD
Amari Cooper has again flashed his monster upside and won many owners their first round of the playoffs. Cooper had 10 receptions for 217 yards and 3 TDs against the Eagles in week 14. This would be a HUGE game for any WR let alone a WR who had struggled to get 1 reception with his former team. The Cowboys are going to continue to feed Cooper against the Colts in week 15. The Colts are a much better defense than in the past, but with the target share Cooper is getting I expect he will continue to be a borderline WR1 each week. Fantasy Projection: 7 receptions 75 yards 1 TD
Tight Ends
- Travis Kelce, KC TE vs. LAC
- Zach Ertz, PHI TE at LAR
- George Kittle, SF TE vs. SEA
- Jared Cook, OAK TE at CIN
- Rob Gronkowski, NE TE at PIT
- Eric Ebron, IND TE vs. DAL
- David Njoku, CLE TE at DEN
- Vance McDonald, PIT TE vs. NE
- Kyle Rudolph, MIN TE vs. MIA
- Cameron Brate, TB TE at BAL
- Chris Herndon, NYJ TE vs. HOU
- Evan Engram, NYG TE vs. TEN
Rob Gronkowski looked like his former stud self in week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. Gronk crushed the Dolphins for 8 receptions 107 yards and 1 TD. Gronk will face the Steelers in week 15 where the Patriots will need to throw the ball in what should be a shootout. I believe Gronk will have another huge game against the Steelers. Fantasy Projection: 7 receptions 65 yards 1 TD
