Justin Herbert
I think it is fair to say that Justin Herbert has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2020 fantasy football season. Herbert threw for 347 yards and 3 TDs against the Jacksonville Jaquars while rushing for another 66 yards and 1 TD. Herbert has been an absolute star for fantasy football purposes throwing down field often and connecting with his star receivers. Herbert has now averaged over 3 TDs per game over his last 3 games and shows not signs of slowing down. Herbert will face the Denver Broncos in week 8 who have allowed the 11th most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. This is not an easy matchup for Herbert, but it really hasn’t mattered who hes faced each week. Fantasy Projection: 287 yards 1.6 TDs passing 12 yards 0.1 TDs rushing
Cam Newton
Cam Newton looked really rough in week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers when he threw for only 98 yards and 0 TDs and only added 19 yards rushing. Newton did not look good as he threw 3 interceptions in this game, but we can’t blame all of this on him. Cam has a an extremely lack luster cast of weapons led by Julian Edelman who does not look like he has in the past and other unporven assets (N’Keal Harry, Damiere Byrd etc.). I think this is both a Cam issue and a whole team problem as I can’t imagine many QBs being successful with a struggling receiving core like the Patriots have. Newton will face the Bills in week 8 who are a middling defense agaisnt opposing QBs, but unless Newton shows us more he will remain in the QB2 conversation. Fantasy Projection: 169 yards 1 TD passing 42 yards 0.4 TDs rushing

Ezekiel Elliott
Ezekiel Elliott has most of his fantasy managers on the edge of a cliff looking for ayone to talk them down. Elliott only rushed for 45 yards and had 1 reception for 6 yards in week 7 against the Washington Football Team. Elliott seemed hampered by not only a strong run defense, but an offense that has been severly handicapped by the loss of QB Dak Prescott. The latter of these two issues is the most pervasive and what will keep his fantasy managers up at night. Can Zeke remain a productive RB1 in such a decimated offense? I am concerned, but I am not ready to give up and I really want to see another week. Zeke will face the Eagles in week 8 who are also a tough defense agaisnt the run, but this should give us a better reading of how the offense will operate as a whole without Dak. Fantasy Projection: 74 yards 0.7 TDs rushing 3 receptions 23 yards 0.1 TDs receiving
James Conner
James Conner has countinued to look good as the key piece in the Steelers rushing attack. Conner had 82 yards rushing and 3 receptions for 29 yards receiving. Conner even had a rushing TD called back on penalty and a pass that almost certainly wouldve been a TD that he dropped. Even without the TDs, Conner had a pretty solid game and I think that he will continue to have a very high floor. Conner will have a difficult matchup in week 8 when he lines up against the Baltimore Ravens who are allowing the 6th least fantasy points to opposing RBs. With the amount of work that Conner sees and the amount of BYE week/injuries you are definitely playin him, but lower your expectations a bit. Fantasy Projection: 65 yards 0.4 TDs rushing 3 receptions 25 yards 0.2 TDs receiving

24 | Diontae Johnson PIT at BAL | 11.1 |
25 | Brandon Aiyuk SF at SEA | 10.7 |
Davante Adams
Oh my goodness Davante Adams have a day! Adams went crazy in week 7 when he had 13 receptions for 196 yards and 2 TDs agaisnt the Houston Texans secondary. These are the exact types of week that you drafted Adams for. He is very high volume, explosive and add in one of the best QBs of all time and its hard not to call him the number 1 receiver each and every week. Week 8 it will be much easier to name him the top option at WR considering DeAndre Hopkins is on BYE and he is facing the Vikings who are allowing the third MOST points to opposing WRs. All I can say is here comes another big week. Fantasy Projection: 8 receptions 101 yards 0.7 TDs
A.J. Brown
I won’t say it has been surprising, but A.J. Brown is stringing together quite a run of spectacular fantasy game this season. Brown has scored at least one TD in the past three weeks and has over 50 yards in each game. In week 7 Brown had 6 receptions for 153 yards and 1 TD against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was an impressive performance against a tough defense that cements Browns status as a WR1/2 each week. Brown will face the Bengals in week 8 who are in the middle of the pack agaisnt opposing WRs, but I would tend to lean towards them being a more favorable matchup for Brown. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 83 yards 0.6 TDs

Tight Ends
Rank | Name | Projected Points |
1 | Travis Kelce KC vs. NYJ | 13.3 |
2 | George Kittle SF at SEA | 13.3 |
3 | Darren Waller LVR at CLE | 11.9 |
4 | Mark Andrews BAL vs. PIT | 11.6 |
5 | Jonnu Smith TEN at CIN | 10.6 |
6 | Hunter Henry LAC at DEN | 10.3 |
7 | Rob Gronkowski TB at NYG | 10.3 |
8 | T.J. Hockenson DET vs. IND | 10.2 |
9 | Jared Cook NO at CHI | 9.7 |
10 | Noah Fant DEN vs. LAC | 9.1 |
11 | Evan Engram NYG vs. TB | 8.9 |
12 | Robert Tonyan GB vs. MIN | 8.7 |
T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson is proving to be a reliable TE option especially considering the amount of disappointment at the position. Hockenson played against the Atlanta Falcons in week 7 where he had 5 receptions for 59 yards and 1 TD. Hockenson has also had over 7 fantasy points each week this season which is a floor many fantasy managers are looking for at the TE position. Hockenson will face the Colts in week 8 who are allowing the LEAST fantasy points to the TE position this year. This is not a great matchup for Hockenson, but it will be hard to find another option to replace him. Fantasy Projection: 5 receptions 59 yards 0.25 TDs
