Josh Allen
Josh Allen proved that he can be a weekly starting QB for fantasy football owners when he made everything of his ideal matchup against the New York Jets in week 1. Allen roasted the Jets defense when he threw for 312 yards and 2 TDs while adding another 57 yards on the ground a 1 TD. This again was an ideal matchup for Allen, but i believe in his talent and he will continue to be a QB 1 for fantasy football rankings, if not a top 5 option, in good matchups. The season just keeps getting better Allen as he faces the Miami Dolphins in week 2 who were the 31st defense against QBs in 2019 and haven’t show any signs of improvement early in the season. Allen will absolutely be a top option in week 2 especially after Cam Newton just rushed for 75 yards and 2 TDs against the Dolphins in week 1 after a year long hiatus. Fantasy Projection: 253 yards passing 1.4 TDs 52 yards rushing and 0.3 TDs
Aaron Rodgers
Is Aaron Rodgers back to his MVP form or was week one just a mirage for fantasy football owners? Rodgers face the Minnesota Vikings in week 1 and posted an insane stat line, 264 yards and 4 TDs, this is exactly the type of performance Rodgers-truthers have been looking for and it could be a sign he is on his way back to the top. I am not ready to declare the Rodgers is back to his fantasy football glory day form, but I am ready to watch his performance closely next week. Rodgers will take on the Detroit Lions in week 2 which is a lack luster defense that was the 26th worst against the QB position in 2019 and just allowed Mitchell Trubisky to throw for 242 yards and 3 TDs against them in week 1. Rodgers is obviously MUCH better than Trubisky which leads me to believing anothe strong performance is ahead for Rodgers in week 2. Rodgers finds himself easily in the top 10 for the week 2 fantasy football rankings. FantasyProjection: 273 yards 1.8 TDs

Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Wow what a first game rookie performance by Clyde Edwards-Helaire (CEH) against the Houston Texans (fantasy football owners rejoice!!). CEH rushed for 138 yards and 1 TD and did not have any receptions in the game. CEH rushed with some serious power for a smaller back and howed agility and burst in cuts that had him picking up yards after contact. It was very assuring to see CEH get the ball 25 times in his first appearance and I don’t mean to complain, but no receptions was an outlier that I imagine is corrected in the future. CEH will take on the Chargers in week 2 who were in the second half of the league against opposing RBs in 2019. CEH will continue to be an RB1 especially against bottom teir rushing defenses. I expect CEH to continue his stellar rookie debut in week 2. CEH is in the week 2 fantasy football rankings at number 6 for all RBs. FantasyProjection: 82 yards 0.8 TDs rushing 2 receptions 20 yards 0.2 TDs receiving
David Johnson
David Johnson came out of the gate last week against the Kansas City Chiefs and showed why he wa worthy of being traded for Deandre Hopkins…although Hopkins ended up looking spectactular. Johnson rushed 11 times for 77 yards and 1 TD while adding 3 receptions for 32 yards. Johnson had a TD run that really showcased his burst and reminded everyone that he is a physical specmien at the RB position. Johnson only rushed 11 times, but I do expect that number to ony increase as the Texans were trailing for the majority of this game and were forced to throw deep. Johnson does not have a favorable matchup in week 2 on paper as he will take on the Baltimore Ravens who had the 7th best rush D in 2019, but if you take last week as an indication of defensive strength the Ravens allowed 6 yards per rush to Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. I expect Johnson will be able to rack up yards and get in the end zone in week 2 even agaisnt the Ravens. You can find Johnson in the week 2 fantasy football rankings at number 17. FantasyPorjection: 65 yards 0.4 TDs 3 receptions 29 yards 0.1 TDs

DeAndre Hopkins
Welp it’s fairly early in the fantasy football season, but it sure looks as if the Arizona Cardinals got everything they wanted in their new star receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins absolutely torched the 49ers defense for 14 receptions and 151 yards. Hopkins actually set his own personal record, which by itself is quite a daunting task, with the 14 receptions in one game. There were plenty of questions in the off-season about Hopkins fantasy value on a new team, but it definitely seems that he will be a top 5 receiver moving forward. This week Hopkins will face the Washington Football Team who were 20th in the league agaisnt opposing WRs in 2019 and looked better against Carson Wentz, but nothing that would shy me away from a stud like Hopkins. FantasyProjection: 7 receptions 82 yards 0.5 TDs
JuJu Smith-Schuster
Is there anyone in the world happier to have Ben Roethlisberger back at QB than JuJu Smith-Schuster. JuJu and Ben were immdeiately back on the same page as they were in 2018 and fantasy owners are relieved to see JuJu performing at a WR1 level again. Smith-Schuster put up 6 receptions for 69 yards and 2 TDs in his season premiere against the New York Giants. Now the Giants defense is not a formidable force, but it was still a great sign that JuJu was able to take advantage of a good matchup. JuJu will face the Broncos in week 2 who are a strong defense and ranked in the top 10 against opposing receivers. Although he has a tough matchup I belive JuJu will continue to see that volume to keep him in the WR1 conversations. JuJu is in the week 2 fantasy football rankings at number 11. FantasyProjection: 6 receptions 67 yards 0.6 TDs
Tight Ends
Rank | Name | Projected Points |
1 | Mark Andrews BAL at HOU | 12.3 |
2 | Travis Kelce KC at LAC | 12.0 |
3 | George Kittle SF at NYJ | 11.7 |
4 | Zach Ertz PHI vs. LAR | 11.6 |
5 | Hunter Henry LAC vs. KC | 11.4 |
6 | Darren Waller LVR vs. NO | 11.0 |
7 | Evan Engram NYG at CHI | 10.6 |
8 | Jared Cook NO at LVR | 9.8 |
9 | Tyler Higbee LAR at PHI | 9.6 |
10 | Dallas Goedert PHI vs. LAR | 9.3 |
11 | Hayden Hurst ATL at DAL | 9.2 |
12 | Noah Fant DEN at PIT | 9.1 |
Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert had an incredible game in week 1 of the fantasy football season putting up 8 receptions for 101 yards and 1 TD against the Washington Football Team. Goedert does share the TE position for the Eagles with Ertz who also had a decent game in week 1, but I think these two Eagles will continue to be ranked in the top 10 TEs for the foreseeable future. Goedert will face Rams in week 2 who were in the bottom half of the league against opposing TEs in 2019 and have not had a great test yet in 2020. I expect Goedert will continue to see plenty of volume from Wentz to keep him in the top TE conversation for week 2. FantasyProjection: 4 receptions 49 yards 0.4 TDs
