Matthew Stafford and his impressive fantasy performances continued in week 8 and should continue into the future especially since the Lions running game is in shambles. In week 8 Stafford torched the Giants secondary for 342 yards and 3 TDs. Stafford is going to have to sling the ball throughout every game and with receivers like Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones he shouldn’t have any trouble. Stafford will face the the Oakland Raiders in week 9 who are easily on of the worst defenders against the pass. Stafford should be in line for another big game. Fantasy Projection: 298 yards 2 TDs passing

Gardner Minshew has been such a surpris this year at the QB position not only for the Jaguars, but for fantasy teams alike. In week 8 Minshew took on the Jets and put up 279 yards and 3 TDs passing along with 28 yards rushing. Minshew will take on an even better opponent for opposing QBs in the Houston Texans in week 9 who just allowed 285 yards and 3 TDs to Derek Carr and a lees than impressive Raiders passing game. Minshew should be in line for another QB1 – high end QB2 perforance and makes for a great bye week fill in. Fantasy Projection: 259 yards 1.3 TDs passing 23 yards rushing

  20. Jordan Howard PHI vs. CHI

Tevin Coleman BLEW UP in week 8 against the Carolina Panthers for 105 yards and 3 TDs rushing with 2 receptions for 13 yards and another TD. Coleman also saw his rushing mate Matt Breida go down with an injury during the game which could provide additional volume. Coleman will face the Cardinals on THursday night who are one of the worse defenses agianst the run and regardles of Breida’s status, Coleman should have another RB1 – high end RB2 week. Fantasy Projection: 69 yards and 0.7 TDs rushing 2 receptions 20 yards and 0.2 TDs receiving

David Montgomery had a truly inspiring performance in week 8 when he rushed for 135 yards and 1 TD while catching 4 passes for another 12 yards. Fantasy owners had lost hope in Montgomery after a week 7 performance that produced less than 1 fantasy point. Now fantasy owners may have something to look forward to after watching Montgomery get 31 total touches in week 8. Week 9 will prove to be more difficult when he faces the Eagles run D, but if he receives the same amount of volume he should have another fantasy relevant day. Fantasy Projection: 64 yards 0.3 TDs rushing 2 receptions 26 yards 0.1 TDs receiving

  22. Kenny Stills HOU at JAX
  23. Alshon Jeffery PHI vs. CHI
  24. Terry McLaurin WAS at BUF
  25. Cortland Sutton DEN vs. CLE

Mike Evans rebounded in week 8 when he raosted the Titans for 11 receptions 198 yards and 2 TDs. It look like it will be a week to week guess at whether Evans or Godwin will have the monster week, but we could see them average out in the future and both have WR1 weeks. One thing is for certain… the Buccaneers will throw and throw often due to their awful run game and their tendancy to fall behind. Mike Evans will face the Seahwaks defense in week 9 who have been bad against opposing WRs and should lead to another Evans WR1 week. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 86 yards 0.5 TDs

Julian Edelman continues to be the main target for Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots. Edelman had a monster game in week 8 when he had 8 reception for 78 yards and 2 TDs. Edelman will continue to be a WR1 in almost every matchup although adding Sanu in the mix could eventually lead to weeks where Edelman is the odd man out. Edelman will face the Ravens in week 9 who are not the defense they once were against the pass. Edelman may not have a 2 TD game in week 9, but he will still be a WR1 in week 9. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 71 yards 0.5 TDs

Tight Ends
  1. George Kittle SF at ARI
  2. Darren Waller OAK vs. DET
  3. Travis Kelce KC vs. MIN
  4. Hunter Henry LAC vs. GB
  5. Evan Engram NYG vs. DAL
  6. Zach Ertz PHI vs. CHI
  7. Mark Andrews BAL vs. NE
  8. Greg Olsen CAR vs. TEN
  9. T.J. Hockenson DET at OAK
  10. Eric Ebron IND at PIT
  11. Jonnu Smith TEN at CAR
  12. Dallas Goedert PHI vs. CHI

Travis Kelce got back in the end zone in week 8 when he had 4 receptions for 63 yards and a TD against the Green Bay Packers. Kelce did not seem to be hindered by replacement QB Matt Moore and actually may have been relied oneven more especially in the red zone. Kelce should continue to be a top 3 TE even with Patrick Mohomes out due to injury. This week Kelce will face the Minnesota Vikings who are a good defense, but who have struggled to cover the pass of late. I do not see this defense effecting Kelce’s place in the TE rankings too much. Fantasy Projection: 5 receptions 78 yards 0.3 TDs
