We all knew it was coming at some point and all Deshaun Watson needed was to re-ignite his chemistry with speedster receiver Will Fuller. Watson had one of the best performances of his career when he threw for 426 yards and 5 TDs with 47 yards rushing. Although it wasn’t his usual target Deandre Hopkins getting fed by Watson it was good to see the QB back in his top 2 QB form. I expect this success will continue for Watson when he faces the Kansas City Chiefs in week 6…a team that makes every game a shootout and whose defense excels QBs to the fantasy stratoshphere. Expect Watson to be in the top 2 again this week. Fantasy Projection: 278 yards 2.5 TDs pasing 36 yards 0.3 TDs rushing.

When in doubt start your QBs against the Chiefs, Cardinals, Eagles, Falcons, Dolphins and definitely the Bengals. Lamar Jackson just so happens to have the Bengals as a mtchup in week 6 who not only give up points through the air, but also on the ground … something Jackson speciifically excels in. Jackson had a bad week in week 5, but the Steelers defense he faced is much better than people think with the addition of Minkah FItzpatrick in the secondary. The week 6 matchup against the Bengals is the perfect bounce back game and I expect to see a top 3 QB performance out of Jackson in week 6. Fantasy Projection: 275 yards passing 2 TDs 54 yards rushing 0.4 TD rushing

Ezekiel Elliott had a decent week in week 5 when he had over 60 yards rushing and 1 TD with 2 receptions for 29 yards. This is not the performance that owners expected to get week in and week out when paying up for Zeke. This makes two weeks in a row with below Zeke like production and I have a feeling we will see the Zeke production levels return in week 6. Elliott will face the Jets in week 6 and should be up multiple scores the majority of the game. This will force the Cowboys to run the ball to work the clock and feed Zeke. Fantasy Projection:100 yards 0.5 TD rushing 5 receptions 40 yards 0.2 TD receiving.

Aaron Jones finally got a FULL workload in week 5 when he rushed for 107 yards and 4 TDs while adding 7 receptions for 75 yards. This was the week that fantasy owners were dreaming of after watching Jones split the RB workload all season. Jones is one of the most efficient running backs in the league and as long as they keep giving him the volume he will continue to find success. Jones will take on Detroit this week who are middle of the pack against the run and should allow Jones to put up significant fantasy numbers once again. Fantasy Projection: 80 yards 0.8 TD rushing 3 reception 29 yards 0.1 TD receiving.

  23. Marquise Brown BAL vs. CIN
  24. Brandin Cooks LAR vs. SF
  25. Calvin Ridley ATL at ARI

Well as the old adage goes.. the squeaky wheel gets the grease… Adam Thielen complaines about the Viking passing game in week 4 after not receiving his fair hare of targets and the targets he was seeing were poor. In week 5 Thielen was fed and took his increase in targets and made the most of them. In week 5 Thielen had 7 receptions for 130 and 2 TDs. This was the monster game that fantasy owners were waiting for Thielen to have. I expect this volume to continue and Thielen to be a borderline WR1 option the rest of the way. Thielen faces a beaten up Eagles secondary in week 6 that should again provide a top 8 WR finish. Fantasy Projection: 5 receptions 78 yards 0.4 TD

D.J. Chark has been an absolute stud for fantasy purposes this year and so far has been matchup proof to start the season. Rookie QB Gardner Minshew has been looking for Chark on nearly every play and it appears they have a very real connection. Chark will face the New Orleans Saints in week 6 who are extemely good against the run, but definitely lack a strong secondary. Chark should be able to continue his breakout in week 6 and should end up as a top 20 WR. Fantasy Projection: 5 receptions 64 yards 0.5 TD

Tight Ends
  1. Travis Kelce KC vs. HOU
  2. George Kittle SF at LAR
  3. Zach Ertz PHI at MIN
  4. Austin Hooper ATL at ARI
  5. Mark Andrews BAL vs. CIN
  6. Greg Olsen CAR at TB
  7. Will Dissly SEA at CLE
  8. Jimmy Graham GB vs. DET
  9. Gerald Everett LAR vs. SF
  10. Delanie Walker TEN at DEN
  11. O.J. Howard TB vs. CAR
  12. Jared Cook NO at JAX

It really felt good to watch George Kittle deliver on his top 3 TE draft value in week 5 when he torched the Browns defense for 6 receptions 70 yards and hid first TD of the season. Kittle’s past performances had been tainted by touchdowns called back by penalty and it was great to see him finally get his first one. Kittle was targeted for a second TD in week 5, but that was broken up by the Browns secondary. Kittle will face the Rams in week 6 which should not pose much of a threat to his fantasy value. Fantasy Projection: 6 receptions 75 yards 0.4 TD
