Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings

Welcome to Week 14/Round 1 of the 2016-17 Fantasy Football season/playoffs. If you are still concerned about your start-sit decisions at this point that most likely means that you made it to the playoffs and in that case… Congratulations! The hard work only begins here. Every decision you make from here on out will be detrimental to the life of your fantasy football teams and your shot at the Championship. FantasyProjection is here for you, if you follow the advice below I know that you can make it all the way to the Championship round and walk away holding a trophy above your head. Thank you and good luck!

Quarterbacks
  1. Drew Brees, NO QB at TB
  2. Aaron Rodgers, GB QB vs. SEA
  3. Andrew Luck, IND QB vs. HOU
  4. Tom Brady, NE QB vs. BAL
  5. Russell Wilson, SEA QB at GB
  6. Jameis Winston, TB QB vs. NO
  7. Matthew Stafford, DET QB vs. CHI
  8. Derek Carr, OAK QB at KC
  9. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT QB at BUF

  12. Matt Ryan, ATL QB at LA
  13. Dak Prescott, DAL QB at NYG
  14. Andy Dalton, CIN QB at CLE
  15. Eli Manning, NYG QB vs. DAL

I really like Jameis Winston this week especially against the generous Saints pass defense. Winston has been very consistent for fantasy purposes averaging 17.7 fantasy points per game over the last 7 games. In addition, he can add points on the ground which most QB’s struggle to do. Besides Winston’s overall abilities as a passer he is also facing the second worst pass defense in the league based on passing yards allowed per game (277). This is a juicy matchup for Jameis who I project for 290 passing yards and 3 TDs.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense has been amazing this year for fantasy purposes scoring on interceptions and fumble recoveries time and time again, but they are a great matchup for QBs. Derek Carr will take on the Chiefs defense this week who are allowing 263 yards per game passing and 21 TDs over the season both of which are in the bottom half of the NFL. Carr has been lighting it up this year and is currently the 7th best QB over the season. I project Carr to continue his success this week with 295 passing yards and 2 TDs.

Running Backs
  1. David Johnson, ARI RB at MIA
  2. Le’Veon Bell, PIT RB at BUF
  3. DeMarco Murray, TEN RB vs. DEN
  4. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL RB at NYG
  5. LeSean McCoy, BUF RB vs. PIT
  6. Melvin Gordon, SD RB at CAR
  7. Spencer Ware, KC RB vs. OAK
  8. Devonta Freeman, ATL RB at LA
  9. Jordan Howard, CHI RB at DET
  10. Thomas Rawls, SEA RB at GB
  11. Matt Forte, NYJ RB at SF
  12. Doug Martin, TB RB vs. NO
  13. Latavius Murray, OAK RB at KC
  14. Jeremy Hill, CIN RB at CLE
  15. Mark Ingram, NO RB at TB

DeMarco Murray is back from a hopefully restful BYE week and ready to take on the Denver Broncos. The Titans have been explosive on offense recently and this should only help to bolster Murray’s fantasy performances. Murray is facing the Broncos 28th ranked run defense based on rushing yards allowed per game (123) which should not be a challenge to Murray at all. I project Murray will rush for 100 yards and 1 TD in week 14.

Besides Rex Burkhead, Jeremy Hill is the only show in town a running back for the Bengals. He has seen an uptick in receiving since Giovanni Bernard went down and he is still the Bengals goal line back. He gets a great match-up this week against the Cleveland Browns who are second worst in the league against the run allowing 140 yards rushing per game. I don’t expect an monster game from Hill this week, but I do have him as a solid RB2 this week. I project he will rush for 40 yards and 1 TD in week 14 with 3 catches for 20 yards.

Wide Receivers
  1. Mike Evans, TB WR vs. NO
  2. Odell Beckham Jr., NYG WR vs. DAL
  3. Antonio Brown, PIT WR at BUF
  4. Julio Jones, ATL WR at LA
  5. Amari Cooper, OAK WR at KC
  6. Larry Fitzgerald, ARI WR at MIA
  7. Dez Bryant, DAL WR at NYG
  8. T.Y. Hilton, IND WR vs. HOU
  9. Jordy Nelson, GB WR vs. SEA
  10. Doug Baldwin, SEA WR at GB
  11. Tyrell Williams, SD WR at CAR
  12. Michael Thomas, NO WR at TB
  13. Julian Edelman, NE WR vs. BAL
  14. Demaryius Thomas, DEN WR at TEN
  15. Terrelle Pryor, CLE WR vs. CIN
  16. Golden Tate, DET WR vs. CHI
  17. Brandon Marshall, NYJ WR at SF
  18. DeAndre Hopkins, HOU WR at IND
  19. Jamison Crowder, WAS WR at PHI
  20. Brandin Cooks, NO WR at TB
  21. Donte Moncrief, IND WR vs. HOU
  22. Emmanuel Sanders, DEN WR at TEN
  23. Michael Crabtree, OAK WR at KC
  24. DeSean Jackson, WAS WR at PHI
  25. Tyreek Hill, KC WR vs. OAK

Tyrell Williams has been a fantasy darling this year scoring double digit fantasy points in 7 out of 12 games this season. He has gone for over 100 yards 3 times this year and has 6 TDs on the season. I expect him to have a great game this week against the leagues worst receiving defense, the Carolina Panthers (294 ypg). I project Williams will have 8 reception for 85 yards and 1 TD in week 14.

DeSean Jackson is a huge upside play this week against his former team the Philadelphia Eagles. DeSean has been underwhelming this year, but always has the potential for a blow up game. I have a feeling that one of those games could be this week in a revenge match-up against the Eagles. DeSean’s fantasy points floor in this game is 4 receptions for 40 yards while his upside is 7 receptions for 100 yards and at least 1 TD. This upside is the reason why he is FantasyProjection’s #24 receiver this week.

Tight Ends
  1. Travis Kelce, KC TE vs. OAK
  2. Jimmy Graham, SEA TE at GB
  3. Tyler Eifert, CIN TE at CLE
  4. Delanie Walker, TEN TE vs. DEN
  5. Cameron Brate, TB TE vs. NO
  6. Ladarius Green, PIT TE at BUF
  7. Greg Olsen, CAR TE vs. SD
  8. Zach Ertz, PHI TE vs. WAS
  9. Eric Ebron, DET TE vs. CHI
  10. Kyle Rudolph, MIN TE at JAC
  11. Coby Fleener, NO TE at TB
  12. C.J. Fiedorowicz, HOU TE at IND

Ladarius Green came to play in a HUGE way last week going for 110 yards and 1 TD on 6 receptions. I expect Green will continue to be involved in the Steeler’s potent offense for the remainder of the season. I project Green will have 5 receptions for 60 yards and 1 TD this week against the Bills.
